-Lessons/Absences (ok to go! make up work/time 10th period)

4. Grading -Minimal to no homework -No tests/quizzes
-Effort in class #1 Priority
-Participation Grade: student self-graded
-Project Completion

5. 8th Grade Units: -Oil Pastel Composition (Observational drawing)
-Clay with glazing
-Shaded Composition (graphite pencil)
-Watercolor Pencil Painting
-Art Appreciation (throughout each unit)
-Other projects, as time allows 
Jezsu Art, YouTube channel

6. FYI’s -Parent Portal (check for updates, missing work, etc)
-BHS course recommendations (on report card)
-Son/Daughter should come home with a portfolio at the end of the quarter. Some work we hold on to for display...you WILL get it back!
