Notebook Entry: Make a list of 3 activities you like to do. Make sure the activities are specific. For example if you like multiple sports please put the name of the sport. Or if you like art put the type of art you like to do.
Turn in your science guideline sheet if you have it signed. It is due today! Put it in the drawer for your class period.

3. What is a standard?
A sentence that describes what you are expected to know and be able to do.
Also known as a learning target.
Examples:
I can dribble a basketball ball up and down the court.
I can explain the rules of Fortnite to another person.

4. Is an activity too general?

Specific
General
If one of your activities in too general revise it to be more specific.

5. Pick one activity
For just one of your activities make a list of all the skills (things to do) and knowledge (things to know) you need to do that activity well. You need at least 5 things.

Need to be written specific to the activity
Ride a horse at a fast gallop
Sing a song in tune and with appropriate pitch.
Pull back on the bow string

Task: Create a rubric to describe the activity you like to do and the progress you make as you learn to do it.

10. How am I doing?
Start will the level of proficient to fill out the chart.
On the right hand side you describe in an “I can” statement all the knowledge and skills you wrote in your spiral.
On the left hand side you would draw a picture of what that level looks like.
Next begin working on the other levels (emerging, developing, and advanced)
Your chart is complete when all levels are described with I can statements and you have a picture sketched for each level.
Turn it in when you are finished.
