1 Trading Card After reading “Rikki-tikki-tavi,” the student will select one of the following characters to analyze based upon character’s actions. Choose from one of these characters: Rikki-tikki, Nag, Nagaina, or Darzee’s wife. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Log into the computer. After the computer has loaded, open Internet Explorer and allow the CPSB homepage to load. Type in bighugelabs.com Scroll down until you see Trading Card and select it. Use Google to help you search for a picture to use to represent the character. Example: Small boy to represent Teddy. The Title should be Character’s Name. The subtitle should be Character Analysis. Description: Summary of your character analysis. Select an icon for your trading card. Click create when you are ready to view your trading card. If you need to make adjustments, you may go back and edit at this point. After you’ve completed the trading card, click on the download button to download the image to your computer. Open a Word document and insert the trading card picture into the document for printing. Print the document. Make sure your name and hour are on the back and turn in for grading. This task uses: Trading card on Bighugelabs.com. Common Core/NG Standard(s): RL Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
