Troubleshooting Common Error / System Messages
Occasionally, you may receive error messages or System Messages when attempting to do an inappropriate action in a Task List. The following slides will help you troubleshoot common errors or system messages. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 1

<Task> on <patient> has been charted previously by <personnel>. Action: Someone is attempting to modify a task at the same time that you are. Contact the user. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 2

The current patient view has been deleted. Please attempt to define the patient view again. Action: Your current patient list has been removed. Select a new patient list to retrieve tasks. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 3

The currently selected scheduled date and time has lapsed. Please select a new scheduled date and time. Action: The date and time for which you are trying to reschedule are in the past. Reset the date and time so that they are in the future. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 4

The task <task> is in a <task status> status. Continue? Action: You are attempting to chart a task that is not in a Pending/In Process/Completed status. If you still want to chart the task, click Yes. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 5

Troubleshooting Common Error / System Messages
The selected task or combination of tasks does not allow detail or modify charting. Action: You double-clicked to perform detail/modify charting when there were a combination of tasks selected that do not all allow this form of charting. Deselect all the tasks and reselect only the ones that are allowed to be detail charted. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 6

The selected patient view does not contain any patients. The Task List will default to the previous patient list. Action: The patient list selected contains no patients. Select a different patient list. Lesson Five: Troubleshooting Task Lists 7
