1 C-OSS Community Experiences of pre-allocation phase PCS User Group meeting– 15 May 2018

2 The new C-OSS Timetable features are not fully in line with C-OSS expectations
Pre-allocation of the relevant PaP is a requirement for editing it. In normal cases this is the appropriate logic, but not in conflict resolution. The allocation can not be reversed even if the amendment would require another dossier to be awarded. C-OSS is unable to adjust offset. In many cases (e.g. conflicts) the problem stems from an incorrect offset. All these cases should be forwarded to PCS support  not efficient from the process point of view.

3 The new C-OSS Timetable features are not fully in line with C-OSS expectations
Times, Location type, Activity type… for operation points of F/O/I could not be changed by the C-OSS. RFCs have no rights to change any data in location under the responsibility and assigned to the IMs. C-OSS should be able to change offset, times, parameters, activity, location types in all locations belonging to the request.

4 Other remarks Partial submission of PaP-section in combined Dossiers containing sections which should be allocated as PaPs and sections to be allocated as tailor-made was not possible. It was only possible to submit a tailor-made path. Plausibility check for times added to border locations with bandwidth RFC 5&8 C-OSS: to make sure, that the request has been placed correctly, the bandwidth of (e.g. of 60+/-) had to be checked for each location manually. PCS-User should only be able to adjust within the time range (similar as implemented for length and weight). Process for alternative PaP offer needs to be improved Currently ”Search for alternative” and ”Reserve alternative” functions work in an a way that can only be applied section-by-section. The C-OSS can not search and reserve the next section until the Customer approves the previous one  Ping Pong Report for the calculation of Feeder / Outflow / Sandwich distances Still manual work  request data from the IMs CIS ? Reliability of PAMT, different data in PAMT Slowness of the PCS-system
