We are mission-driven and purposeful. We want to be appreciated for the money we raise, connections we make AND the work we do for kids. We are capable, caring and hard-working.
14
Our Purpose Why do we exist?-Our purpose:
To engage strong, purposeful women in helping to fund vital programs at Lurie Children’s How do we achieve our purpose?: As ambassadors of Lurie Children’s, we connect the hospital to those who can help fund the programs needed to help children grow and thrive. Connections are made through the stories we tell and the work we do. What does success look like?: We envision a world where every child gets the care they need and where Lurie Children’s research, advocacy and care are all 100 % FUNDED! The Values that guide us: Generosity: We are generous in spirit and give of our time, treasure and connections Gratitude: We are grateful for the children in our lives and recognize that gratitude through giving back Friendship: We connect with each other as friends and endeavor to support and inspire each other daily Family: We value the families we serve and are especially proud to be a part of the Lurie Children’s Family Tradition: We recognize those who have paved our way and respect that our hospital and board have endured the test of time
