Introduction Get the reader interested in what you have to say.
Basic Information about the film. Top of the charts? Sound tracks popular? Introduce the main concept of your review. Good? Bad?

Condensed Plot Summary
Provides a short plot synopsis. Talks about the most important moments Does not spoil the viewing for others.

Description/Background Information
Who produces the film? What actors are in the film? Who worked with the music within the film? What does the film look like? What does it sound like? What do you think of when you think about this film?

Analysis & Arguments How does the film present thematic content? (history, race, gender, etc.) What underlying message is it trying to say? Is it good? What went good? What went bad? Use specific examples from the film.

Evaluation & Conclusion
Remind the reader of your general thoughts on the film. Would you recommend the film? Remind the reader why the film is or is not worth seeing.

Research & Support Use creditable outside sources.
Can be placed anywhere within the movie review. What are other sources saying about the movie? Chose to agree or disagree with the source.
