3. AVM: the Association of Volunteer Managers
An independent membership body that aims to support, represent and champion people in volunteer management regardless of field, discipline or sector. It has been set up by and for people who manage volunteers across the UK.

Individual membership benefits individuals or those in smaller organisations/ teams. Membership rates based on salary, with reduced rate for unwaged.
Organisational membership benefits organisations with more than a small number of volunteer managers, making AVM benefits and discounts available to all VMs in the organisation.
Usually L&D events are half price for members
