Get familiar with using ROS command line tools Get familiar with collecting, storing, and using stored data through ROS Create your own ROS nodes to do data processing, communicating with other ROS nodes programmatically The car will drive without your direct input.

3 Caveats & Hints Make sure your environment variables are correct/configured! When making ROS nodes, a good starting point is your node accepting argument inputs from the launch file correctly, e.g. the node starts correctly without doing data processing. Debug system issues separately from algorithm issues! The cars run out of battery; keep an eye on it!
