We read many books about pumpkins and learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. We read The Biggest Pumpkin Ever and discussed character traits with Desmond and Clayton, 2 new characters we have met. We read the book and watched the video of Spookley The Square Pumpkin and we discussed how a character can change. In the story Piggies in the Pumpkin Patch, we reviewed adjectives and verbs. We had fun investigating pumpkins and planting pumpkin seeds! We had a great time on our field trip to Victoria Theater to watch the play of Charlotte’s Web!
