2. My name is Mrs. O’Hea and I am so excited to be your teacher for the school year. This is my fourth year teaching at Hickory Creek, and I am so excited to be your teacher. I am co-teaching Social Studies with Mrs. Gatsios, Science with Mr. Finan, and I’m also teaching eighth grade ELA.

I also have a pet. He is a cat named Totoro. We adopted him from a shelter 10 years ago.

Mr. O’Hea and I have been married for 22 years. We met when we were in college.

I have 2 degrees: The first one is a B.A. in English from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. The second is a M.S.Ed. in Special Education from Northern Illinois University.

I am super excited to spend a great year with all of you. We will grow together into better readers, writers, Historians, and Scientists. My goal this year is to help each and every one of you love this class and understand how what we learn in this class relates to real life.
