1 Londyn

2 London city located in the southeastern part of the United Kingdom.
It is the capital of England and also the capital of the country. Located on the River Thames,is the largest city in Europe after Moscow and Istanbul. Population of London is around 8.2mln in the 1607km and all the London metropolitan area, includin all adjacent cities has about 20mln inhabitants.Modern London is the largest financial center in the world and the most polluted city of the European Union. City full of monuments and museums,attracts around 30mln tourists.

3 Religion The largest social group of the city are Christians. In London, based in Lambeth Palace Archbishop of Canterbury is spiritual head of the Church of England, and in the House of Bishops in Westminster head of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales-Archbishop of Westminster. The most famous church is the Cathedral św.Pawła.

4 Main attractions -Tower of London -Big Ben -St Paul's Cathedral in London

5 Tower of London Once the building is serving a defensive
function, as well as the palace. The Tower of London was founded by William the Conqueror in 1078 to today become one of the most popular forts of the world. Now here are the crown jewels of inestimable value.

6 Big Ben Initially, the name Big Ben was related to the
bell tower of St. Stephen. The construction of the neo-Gothic tower of the Palace was taken after a fire in Inauguration of the opening ceremony took place on May 31, 1859. The bell weighs 13 tons.

7 St Paul's Cathedral in London
Is located in central London called The City. Its construction took place from 1675 to 1710. The height of the building measured from the floor to the cross located in the top of the dome is 108 feet, the length of 158 meters. Inside the cathedral there are several art galleries.
