1 Job 38:1-3 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

3 Have you ever thought about it?
“LIFE IS UNFAIR!” “GOD IS NOT LISTENING TO MY PRAYERS!” “I’M IN A HOPELESS SITUATION!”

4 When We Suffer Grief, We Undergo 5 Stages..
Denial: Anger: Bargaining: Depression: Acceptance: “Dili ni pwede matabo!” “Kinsa ang may sala?!” “kung pwede ra unta_______.” “kasakit pa sa akong gibati..” “nadawat na nako..”

5 Usually we have hard times coping with the grieving process..
Stuck in DENIAL stage.. Have no support Another problem comes

6 Maybe Life Is Not Fair After all
Maybe Life Is Not Fair After all. . . But We Must Remind Ourselves That God Will Still Be Faithful.. God gives Job three requirements: 1. Prepare yourself like a man. 2. I will question you. 3. You will answer Me.

7 1. Prepare Yourself Like A Man.
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." “like a man” means being tough and strong “when the going gets tough, the tough get going..” 2 Chronicles 15:7 “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."

8 “a strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.”
We Need to be strong for.. Our Family Our Ministry Others Who Will Need Our Help

9 2. I will question you. Job 38:4-7 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone— while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?

10 A Rhetorical Question A question that tells Job something
Its as if God is asking Job, “why are you in doubt?” Like Job, sometimes we face great grief's that lead us to question God and what He can do.. we doubt Him, rather than trust in Him God asks us, “Have you remember how I saved you in the past?” God can still rescue us and give our needs- be it in present or in future Hebrews 13:8  “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Illustration: “He wants us to restore our relationship to Him”

11 3. You will answer Me. Mark 1:16-20
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ”Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him. When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.

12 God Is Calling Us. . . To surrender everything to Him, and let him give security.. To Freedom.. To A Life Of Abundance… To An Intimate Relationship With Him…

13

14 Conclusion: When life seems unfair..
We need to prepare ourselves to be strong God is reminding us that “He will never leave us..” God is calling us to make Him as our Refuge..
