10. Sentence Type
Goes at the end of your paper. Pick three sentences you wrote. Should be three different types. If you do not have three, you need to revise your paragraphs. Re-write these at the bottom of your paper and label them. Additionally, you’re going to “diagram” each portion of the sentence using color crayons. Make a key at the bottom. You should differentiate each part with a different color: a. The subject b. The verb c. The predicate d. The conjunction (tell me above it whether it is Coordinating (C) or Subordinating (S) and circle it) e. label each independent/dependent clause ***Note – colors should match the key, so I should know that BLUE stands for conjunction
