Make sure to have pencils sharpened, phones away, and be in your seat before the bell rings. If you have your Two Paragraphs from the Sentence Type HW – Thanksgiving Break, have it on your desk. Do not turn it in! Part 1 or 2 questions of Scene IV, if you have them, keep them with you! Make sure to get a warm up sheet from me. No TUTORING TODAY!!!!!

Sentence Type Goes at the end of your paper. Pick three sentences you wrote. Should be three different types. If you do not have three, you need to revise your paragraphs. Re-write these at the bottom of your paper and label them. Additionally, you’re going to “diagram” each portion of the sentence using color crayons. Make a key at the bottom. You should differentiate each part with a different color: a. The subject b. The verb c. The predicate d. The conjunction (tell me above it whether it is Coordinating (C) or Subordinating (S) and circle it) e. label each independent/dependent clause ***Note – colors should match the key, so I should know that BLUE stands for conjunction

Go over sentence type hw from Monday night. Students should take out their Sentence Type HW: Thanksgiving Break They must choose three sentences to pull out and write below and color code the subject, verb, predicate, and conjunction. Must be two different sentence types (NOT Simple) They then turn this in. Student should choose one character thus far and create a FB page using the template I have given them. They should use quotes from the character. HW: Complete the Reviewing the Details, Scene IV 4 – 6 and the Scene IV Reading Questions in the Act II Packet– Make sure you finished your Scene IV Questions, part I and II
