3. Design Decisions
I changed the background to a dark blue that is a close match to the color the data is plotted to help the data stand out. Before it was a white back ground and the data got lost in it.
I added a y and x axis label so that it is clear what the data is showing and the viewer does not have assume.
I also changed the title of the graph to include the city where the data was collected. Scripps pier tells the viewer what institute was used, but not everyone will know where that is.
This is also the reason why I decided to keep the map, but change it to a map of California. Not every viewer is going to know where La Jolla, California is, so the map allows for quick identification.
