Overview Appropriate adult learning theories
Effect of social media or e-learning on learner motivation Ethical considerations of integrating social media Relevant training program competencies We have come a long way in technology. With the advancements in technology, keeping their attention gets tougher with each new class. As a curriculum developer, it is the job to integrate social media in order to This paper and presentation will show what it will take to keep military students focused and interested in a subject that is not pleasant, but extremely important. This paper will explore appropriate learning theories needed for instruction, the effects of social media or e-learning on student motivation, some ethical considerations of integrating social media, and finally, relevant training program competencies. when choosing an eLearning Authoring Tool, it is imperative that we keep a few things in mind; the tool is easy to use, how interactive does it need to be, compatibility with software already being used, compatibility with mobile devices and lastly, keeping the learners needs in mind. Appropriate adult learning theories
Social Cognitive Learning Theory Learning by observing others Learning might not happen quickly but will over time Setting goals Expectations formed/ punishments towards others might result in not trying at all Social Cognitive Learning Theory is a theory of learning by observing others. This learning might not happen immediately but it will given time. Some people need time to absorb and take in the material or what they say and might need to see it again before they get it to stick. Another assumption of this theory is that many people might set goals for themselves in order to push them to the finish. These goals are self set and they might form a expectation from them. These are expectations formed from seeing others do the same thing and then when they fail the person might not even try for fear of themselves failing and receiving the same form of “punishment”. Punishment might be in laughing or lack of understanding. (Kepley, 2015) For example a person is learning to speak in front of large groups. They watch others speak and get a sense of what they need to do in order to become a good speaker. They set goals that they can do this in a time frame. They are on the preforming day ad see from behind the senses that people are not interacting with the speaker they way they should and the person backs away form doing their speech incase they get the same result. (Kepley, 2015)

Effect of social media or e-learning on student motivation
A perfect circle The more accessible information is the more students want to learn The more students want to learn the more the are motivated. Adults Need to want to learn Adults want to learn thus they take classes or do research to learn. When training in a wok environment where training might not be received positively it become a challenge to get the students motivated. When we make training more accessible for them then the training might be looked on as a positive event rather than negative. The more they want to learn and understand the more they will be motivated in the learning process. Making the learning fun and simple and progressive might work.

Ethical considerations of integrating social media
Content Sources Copyright Maintain a positive image of the company DO NO HARM Ethical considerations associated with social media is content, content is the knowledge we want to send to the students. Sources that instructors use must be gathered from reliable sources, and permission is granted by the command. There are also copyright issues that must be adhered to. It is an instructor’s responsibility to know the rules and regulations regarding social media use. Productivity in the education jurisdiction can be an issue if not observed. Instructors should be aware of the validity of sources used in program. One other thing to consider, is to maintain a positive image of the company. There should never be negative comments made of the company especially when training. By keeping it positive this will entice the new trainees to want to stay and learn more.

Relevant training program competencies
Competencies help establish what was learned and how the learning adhered. The wordie diagram here not only lists standard core competencies but other competencies that need to be tested and understood by learners. This is not a complete list but a good representation of what learners should show after completion of the materials. Using Social media and elearning will help with making sure thee are meet by reaching out to all learners and helping them in their education needed to be completed.

Conclusion Education will always be a thought-provoking career and developing curriculum is not too far behind. Integrating social media and/or eLearning into a training program will give learners the opportunity to do so on their time along side guided training. Social media appeals to the younger generation and needs to be learned by the older generations as well. Using eLearning along with social media will help this task of teaching all generations and also help bring the older learners up to speed with what available to them.
