Shape Puzzle You and your shoulder partner (AB) will work together. Each pair needs 1 baggie of shapes. Put up a divider between you and your teammates using white boards You must follow the rules exactly
4
Task 1: Symmetry Make a symmetrical image with the 2 shapes. You must use only 1 of a shape A and 2 of shape B. Connect all flat edges with lines. All shapes must be connect to at least 1 other shape Dots may only go on flat edges Think about it: Reveal your shape to your neighbors. Note similarities & differences. Think about it: What do the shapes, lines and dots represent?
5
Task 2: Rule of Eights Look at these shapes. Everything must have 8 dots. Think to yourself how many dots are in 1 line? Check your shape. Do you follow the rule of eight? In your notebook how does the rule of 8 relate to bonding?
6
Task 3: Shake it up Add the CIRCLE to your current shapes.
Rearrange to make symmetry. Connect all flat edges with lines. All shapes must be connect to at least 1 other shape Dots may only go on flat edges Follow the rule of eight.
