2. Word Order – Unit 98
(A) Adjective Order in a noun phrase: Opinion adjectives come first. Opinion: pretty, funny, useful, wonderful, hard, easy, fun, great, etc. Fact: blue, large, 50-year old, fat, thin, sick, Thai, plastic, young, paper, etc.

(B) Usual Adjective Order in a noun phrase: (determiner—e.g.— a, the, several, some, this, etc.) → opinion → size → age → color → place → material The incredible big old yellow German metal can.

Adjective Order in a noun phrase: Also, (C) the last hour, the third time, etc. (D) Use adjectives, not adverbs, after stative (non-active) verbs like be, seems, looks, appears, feels, etc.
