College Continue to volunteer/shadow to gain more animal experience Applicants are not required to complete Bachelor’s Degree in order to apply to veterinary school Typical pre-vet majors include Animal Science, Biology, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc Must be within 2 semesters of completing required coursework before you can apply

Requirements for Application
VMCAS Application: due Sept 15th Supplemental fee due Sept 15th Complete Pre-Veterinary Courses by following June 1st GRE – Graduate Record Exam Test due Nov 1st = 30% GPA = 40% Core : Minimum of 2.8 (20%) Cumulative (20%) Subjective = 30% Veterinary Experience Letters of Recommendation Minimum of 3 Letters 1 of Those 3 Must be from a Veterinarian
