Geography Egypt’s geography was divided into two parts, the red land and the black land. The black land had rich black silt that the Egyptians used for growing crops. The red land consisted mainly of unprofitable desert and was used for the protection of Egypt by separating it from neighboring countries.

Religion The religions of the Ancient Egyptians consisted of polytheistic beliefs. The Egyptians worshiped Pharaoh because they believed he descended from god. They believed in an afterlife. They were able to talk to the gods through prayer.

Social Structure Men and women were viewed as being equal. Both men and women could own and sell property. You were allowed to work your way up the social structure pyramid.
