4. Step 2: Research your project
Use a variety of websites
Try to stay away from Wikipedia
Read and Learn about your topic
Become an expert
If you are bored of your topic after reading for five minutes- Pick another Topic
Start jotting down important facts about your topic. This is non fiction piece of writing- don’t include your opinion
Include the past of your topic, progression throughout time, where we are at now, and predict where it could go from here…

5. Step 3: Decide how you’d like to present your topic

Slideshow
Poster
Video
Story Board
Comic Strip
Newspaper articles
TedTalk
Speech

6. Step 4: Include a One page Write Up
Remember:
This is a historical/Non-fiction - do not include your opinon
Give us the basic facts (in your own words!)
Use Bill Bryson’s examples to help you organize your thoughts
You may want to include Headings and images if it supports your info.

7. Step 5: Include a skill testing question
Must be information that you have discussed in your presentation (whichever format you have chosen).
Must be multiple choice.
Must only have once answer.
