High Frame Rates for 3D / 2D D-Cinema (Study Group)
Project scope
- Create a report describing the elements of the D-cinema
distribution system impacted by high frame rate
- Recommend new and possible modified standards
Current status
- SG has collected information on the HFR capabilities of
equipment in the field today
- SG has also studied the effects of compression on HFR
- An interim report has been completed and issued
