5 Restaurant Money made from parties at a restaurant. What are the x and y intercepts? There is only one (0,0). What does this intercept mean in the problem? When you haven’t done any parties, you haven’t made any money. Its like the starting point.

7 Movie Tickets The relationship between price and number of movie tickets sold. What are the x and y intercepts? (0, 2450) and ($11.50, 0) What do the intercepts mean in the problem? The y intercept shows the number people who will come if the tickets are free. The x intercept shows the price that will cause no one to come.
