5. Light Independent Reaction
In the stroma, carbon fixation occurs.
This is called the Calvin Cycle.
Produces glucose.

6. c4 Plants
An extra step where carbon is put into a four carbon molecule.
Pumps CO2 into the plant.
Example: high light intensity plants (corn)

7. CAm Plants
Plants take in CO2 at night only to prevent too much from entering during hot days.
Example - desert plants

8. Heterotrophic Plants
Can use both autotrophic and heterotrophic nutrition to provide nutrients to plant.
