Diorama After reading “Rikki-tikki-tavi,” the students will write an objective summary of the story. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Log into the computer. After the computer has loaded, open Internet Explorer and allow the CPSB homepage to load. At the top of the CPSB homepage, click on visit a school. Scroll down until you see Moss Bluff Middle and click go. Once the homepage loads, click on faculty - ELA - Denice Breaux – Class documents. Right click on the Diorama link and save to desktop. Double click to open the Diorama. Where the picture is, you need to insert an image from Google to represent the story. In the box at the bottom, you will type the objective summary of the story. Print the Diorama after you’ve completed the objective summary. Cut out the parts with the red circle through it. Cut on the dotted lines and glue the flaps. Put your first and last name on the bottom of the diorama. This task uses: Powerpoint Common Core/NG Standard(s): RL Determine central ideas or themes of a text and analyze their development; summarize the key supporting details.
