8. Personal Reflection
I chose Martin Parr because he was a traveler and where ever he went he could capture the actual human element. His work with everyday people is real and its not always pretty, but always has a deeper meaning. His style of saturation is very eye-drawling and the colors are always vibrant, unless black and white. His style of photojournalism is very real, and reminds me of everyday life. His subjects are never identical in any way and they always have visible imperfections and that shows that he doesn’t like perfect, he likes “real” and I think that it is admirable.
