When Jerry’s boss left him a voic asking him to relocate to Chicago, the decision was not a piece of cake. He had already begun putting down roots in Cleveland, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to uproot his life again. With his new promotion, work already seemed to swallow up so much of his spare time. He sometimes felt like a chicken with its head cut off, running around aimlessly for something he really didn’t care about. He picked up the phone to return the call, still absolutely unsure of what he was going to do. The ring of the phone in his ear only served to heighten his anxiety.
