Summary and books by author
Sisters 2014 Sisters is a book about Raina and her sister Amara and how they go on a trip. Throughout the story her and sister go through some bumps along the way, but in the end they resolve most of their conflicts. Also Raina is having flashbacks about her and her sister throughout the story which are some key moments. Ghosts 2016 Ghosts is a story about Cat and how she has to adjust to a new town. Cat is also trying to protect her sister, Maya because she has a breathing disability. But throughout the story Cat meets new friends and learns to accept her sister’s problems. Baby-Sitters Club: Kristy’s Great Idea 2015 This book is about four girls named Kristy, Stacey, Claudia, and Mary Anne. This first book is mainly about how the baby sitters club was formed and Kristy the founder of the club. Kristy has a lot to juggle like the club and adjusting to Watson her mom’s boyfriend.

My opinion on Sisters Sisters
Parts I liked about the book were the arguments because they reminded me of me and my brother. I also liked it when the sisters had to work together. I disliked it when the author just brought the mood of the story down. I can’t say what part i was because it might spoil the story.

My opinion on Ghosts Ghosts
What I liked about the story was the ending because that’s when Cat learns to accept change. I would tell you more but I can’t spoil the story. I didn’t really dislike anything except when Cat was so quick to judge Carlos, she literally just met him!

My opinion on Kristy’s Great Idea
I liked it when Kristy finally accepted the fact that her mom and Watson love each other. And when she meets Watsons kids. I disliked it when Kristy got too self absorbed and was only thinking about herself.

You should read these books because…
You should read these books because the have great themes if you have any siblings you could probably relate. For me I could mainly relate to Sisters. If you don’t have any siblings that’s ok you could probably relate somehow.

Themes The theme for the book Sisters was if you overcome your differences and work together you can succeed, like when Raina and Amara had to come up with a solution to the problem. The theme for Ghosts was that you should accept change it might not be as bad as you though, like when Cat accepted that the new town is different from others. The theme for the book Kristy’s Great Idea is good friends will most of the time support you, like when Kristy didn’t want to baby-sit Watson’s kids her friends took the job.

Types of characters She likes to write about things that can relate to her, for example most of her main characters have siblings especially her book Sisters. In the book Sisters the main character tends to care what people think about her like when her cousins saw her sleeping with her teddy bear she acted like it was not hers and threw it across the room. In the book Ghosts the main character can be very protective of her younger sister like when her sister wanted to go on this ghost tour but she didn’t want to she still went to protect her sister. In Kristy’s Great Idea the main character Kristy mostly throughout the story was self centered for example throughout the story she was only thinking about how she felt about Watson not how her mom felt

Author's style of writing
My author likes to use dialog for her story’s. My author likes to make her books for all ages. My author likes to make things relatable so her readers can enjoy the book. I noticed that my author likes to have the problems at the end and then they are quickly resolved.
