3
Background I picked this topic for my science fair because I thought it would be interesting to try and make plastic out of milk and vinegar.
4
Hypothesis If i add vinegar and hot milk together the cup with the less vinegar will be the best recipe for making plastic.
5
Variables Independent: How much vinegar will be put into the mug.
Dependent: Witch recipe will make the best plastic. Controls: How much hot milk that will be put in the cups, same type of milk, and the temperature of the milk.
6
Procedure get 3 cups and 3 mugs heat up some milk
you put 1 cup of milk in one cup, 2 cups of milk in the other cup, and 3 cups in the last cup you put one cup of vinegar in each cup now you put netting on the top one the vinegar cup put it together and wait for it to create a plastic like substance.

Conclusion What will be the best recipe for making plastic out of milk? For this lab I mixed vinegar and hot milk together but different amounts of vinegar to see witch recipe would make the best and most amount of plastic. Afterwards I found that the recipe using the most vinegar made more plastic than the rest of the recipes. My data doesn’t match my hypothesis because i thought

Rest of conclusion the recipe with less vinegar would make most plastic. I learned that simple combinations can make something you didn’t think you could make. A problem I had was the cups were not big enough so next time I will definitely use bigger cups.
