Graveyards often inspire a quiet reverence in people who visit.

7. prosaic (adj): relating to prose, dull, commonplace
Melinda’s plans for this summer are rather prosaic, compared with her African safari of last year.

8. anecdote (n): short, usually funny account of an event
Michael was always a hit at corporate meetings, when he shared hilarious anecdotes of office hijinks.

9. adulation (n): high praise
The adulation which was heaped upon the stars and makers of The Lord of the Ring series was intense.
