2. Extension Reminder
The PI will receive an eIRB notification to extend an NHSR or Exempt Research project.
The link to the workspace is in the notification.

3. Extend Approval
The PI must click on the “Extend Approval” activity on the Application Workspace under “Current Activities”.

4. Extend Approval
By clicking “Ok”, the PI agrees to extend the research for additional 3 years.

5. Extension Complete
An eIRB notification will be sent to the PI when the expiration date has been extended.
