America’s mid-west is a vast plain, or flat level area.
Plateaus can be found in the southwest of the US, which are plains that sit high above sea level and have cliffs on all sides.

Every landform above water can be found underwater too.
Continental land often times stretches into the water before it drops off, this is called the continental shelf.
