1 Who is ActionAid ActionAid is a women’s rights organisation that empowers women living in poverty and exclusion to stand up and claim their human rights.

2 ActionAid is present in over 45 countries with more than 40 years of experience in conflict and humanitarian settings. ActionAid works with a wider network of over 5,000 local partners. In the past 5 years ActionAid has met immediate response and early recovery needs in 134 emergencies reaching in excess of 6.2 million people across 38 countries.

Climate change and conflict is not just a national security issues it is about women’s human security . This manifests into poverty , inequalities ad injustices Women can be resilient if their organizing , leadership is recognized and agency supported. Can this be the next big agenda for the commonwealth of nations?
