1-Day conference for all town officials
Takes place in April (2 locations around VT)
20 different workshops plus a Keynote

Planning committee participant for at least 10 years

Opportunity to connect with town officials around the state
Promote the use of public digital mapping data
Promote the use of state online mapping applications (like the ANR Atlas)
Answer questions about digital mapping technology

Parcel mapping options
Examples of how mapping data can be used in a town office
Statewide parcel mapping data project and how towns can participate

11. Why Do We Plan?
Volunteering on planning committee helps to ensure that we can present about new data and projects (like statewide parcel mapping)
We learn about the needs and interests of town officials
We learn of opportunities to partner with other planning committee participants
