A Peek At The Week
-In reading we are continuing to direct instruction at students’ reading levels.
-During math we will be working on taking away 7, 8, and 9 from teen numbers. Students will continue practice with drawing pictures and circling the group of ten.
-Writing time this week will be spent writing a narrative story. Students get to choose the topic of their story and include a beginning, middle, and end.
-Our Core Knowledge time will continue with Social Studies and the study of Early American Civilizations. Which includes Hunters and Gathers, the Maya, the Inca, and the Aztec.
Homework Ideas
-Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - reading homework
-Tuesdays and Thursdays - math homework

- January 8th: Fit-n-Fun (3:10-3:45 in the gym)

As the weather gets colder don’t forget to send your kiddo to school with the appropriate winter attire. Coats, gloves, hats, scarfs, etc…
