Calculator Calculator You may use any scientific or graphing calculator you like as long as it can calculate factorials, permutations, combinations, means and standard deviations and has trigonometric functions. no calculators with computer algebra systems

Grading A 90 to 100% B 80 to 89.9% C 70 to 79.9% D 60 to 69.9% E below 60% Grade Scale Grade Breakdown There will be no +/- grading Midterm Exams – 50% Final Exam (exam 6) – 10% Homework and quizzes – 40%

Testing Exam Dates Tests are taken in Math Testing Center (PSA 21) Test 1 – Wednesday, September 8 Test 2 – either Wednesday, September 29 or Thursday, September 30 Test 3 – Wednesday, October 13 Test 4 – Wednesday, October 27 Test 5 – either Wednesday, November 17 or Thursday, November 18

Attendance Attendance Policy For Fall and Spring semesters: For classes that meet two days a week, the maximum number of allowed absences is four (4). Students who exceed the number of allowed absences will receive a grade of EN.

Time Studying and Preparation Time: The course requires you to spend time preparing and completing assignments. A three-credit course requires a minimum of 135 hours of student work.

Basic Course Information
Course Set-up This course is sectioned into six modules. Each module consists of video lectures, homework assignments, quizzes, and a test. Videos are assigned to be watched before class. In class, you will work on the homework, complete quizzes, and work on projects in groups.
