2 Results We experimented the speed at which a marble travels at on different surfaces here Distance of every tube= 58.5cm Cardboard= Time seconds Speed cm/s Sand paper= Time seconds Speed cm/s Carpet= Time seconds Speed cm/s Rubber= Time- 0.5 seconds Speed- 117cm/s Slime= Time seconds Speed Foil= Time seconds Speed cm/s

3 Prediction We thought that the foil tube would be the best material for the marble to travel on because of its smooth texture. Also, we thought that slime would be the slowest because it would be very sticky. Conclusion Overall, the cardboard tube made the marble go the fastest because it was very smooth. We predicted that the foil tube would go the fastest because it is very smooth but once we laid it out it crumpled and made it bumpy. Also, when we did the slime tube the marble went quite fast.
