The Pathfinder Rover It landed on Mars in 1997. A robot camera was used that is why the photos were not clear. The robot camera sent the pictures back to Earth through radio signals. The Pathfinder Rover was operated from Earth. The motors’ electricity came from solar panels on its top surface. The solar panels transferred the sunlight’s energy to the electric motors. The Curiosity Rover [1] It is the size of a small car. It landed on Mars on 6 August It searches for signs that micro-organisms live on Mars. It is able to collect more information about Mars’ surface. Millions of micro-organisms can easily fit onto a needle’s tip because it is extremely tiny. Natural Sciences and Technology - Grade 6
