Divide using models. 4 ÷ 2 3 6 Procedure Step 1 – Draw rectangular boxes to represent the dividend (first number) Step 2 – Draw a rectangular box to represent the divisor (second number) Step 3 – Cut up the first set of rectangles into the fractional size of the second rectangle Step 4 – Make as many groups the size of the second rectangle as you can from the first rectangles Step 5 – Count the groups for the final answer.
