Reasons why raising minimum wage won’t help economy: 1.Loss of jobs 2.Higher taxes 3. No-skill is needed

3 Loss of jobs: Higher wages for unskilled labor leads to people getting replaced by machines. This leads to jobs getting lost and unemployment being on the rise again.

4 Higher Taxes: Different states have different economies
Higher Taxes: Different states have different economies. Some will thrive, and some won’t do as well as the others. The cost of living in a state differs as well.

5 No Skill: Working at a fast food restaurant does not require skill
No Skill: Working at a fast food restaurant does not require skill. Raising the minimum wage would give these people the incentive to do less, because they will be getting their money either way.
