Target: Demonstrate the cooperation between the Papacy (the Pope) and Charlemagne the Great. Let's work together... Success Criteria- 1. Identify the history of Frankish Kings- Clovis, Charles Martel, Pepin the Short, and Charlemagne 2. Create a Timeline of Historic Events of Charlemagne's reign. 3. See my example on the board to create your vertical timeline 4. Begin with the year AD 481 and record what made that year so significant (important). One or two words answers is not enough. You will finish these text pages in class. 5. For Homework, read the handout and add the remaining dates and details to your timeline. This is due tomorrow.
