2. AUTOMATIC ONION AND GARLIC PEELER
Automatic peeling machine suitable to process all kind of onions with diameter from 30 mm till maximum of 100 mm – with roots of maximum length of 30 mm.
Onions are loaded in definite quantity by means of feeding elevator into a turning drilled net .
Over the net , brushes make easier the rolling of onions and their fall through the net’s holes.
Roots are cu by four rotating blades installed under the net and are continuously discharged after cutting.
Peels are engraved by blades and , at the same time , an high pressure air jet coming from nozzles turning at high pressure peels the onions.
Peeled onions are discharged at the end of the peeling cycle in a separate way , through an opening controlled by a pneumatic piston .
Cleaning in place water system .
Loading , peeling and discharging times are temporised .
Peeling cycle : 1-2 minutes according to the kind of loaded onion.
Hourly capacity about : kg/h according to the kind of onion loaded
