Community and network leadership is leaders volunteering to make a meaningful impact in our Wells Fargo internal community and in the external communities where we live and work.

Community and Network Leadership
Leadership Volunteering Nonprofit board representation Team Member Network leadership Individual Team volunteering activities Individual Volunteering At Wells Fargo, all team members are called: To be leaders To be engaged and connected in our communities To value and promote diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business
17
We are all called to be leaders
At Wells Fargo, we are all called to be leaders in both our internal and external communities. Regardless of line of business, job title, role, or level, there are three key leadership areas that apply to everyone: Lead yourself, Lead the team, and Lead the business. To effectively lead, you need to have a solid understanding of your strengths and how to leverage them in your community and network leadership roles.
18
More about community and network leadership
Who participates in community and network leadership? Any team member can be considered for a community and network leadership role. “We expect all our team members to be community leaders. We need all of them, regardless of rank or title, to be our eyes and ears, to help us identify and decide how Wells Fargo should respond to community needs.” (The Vision & Values of Wells Fargo) Why is community and network leadership important for me? Participating in community and network leadership is an opportunity for you to commit to a cause, issue, organization, or Team Member Network where you have an affinity and a passion. This experience can also provide the opportunity to leverage your strengths and expertise, develop new skills, use muscles you might not have used in a while, and tackle new challenges. Your development will be most effective when you explore a variety of development opportunities. These opportunities can include hands-on learning in real situations, either on the job or through volunteer activities or special assignments. They will help you to: Positively impact our internal and external communities Expand community connections with others in the communities where you live and work (internally and externally) Expand your network, gain visibility, and build business acumen Build greater insight by being a “voice” for inclusion, and building diversity awareness and cultural competence
19

The Leadership Model is based on three key leadership areas that apply to everyone, regardless of line of business, job title, role, or level: Lead Yourself. Accomplishing Wells Fargo’s goals and objectives. Your community and network leadership roles will help you develop in these areas.
