Course Description This course is designed as an introduction to United States history, present, in order to help students understand, analyze, and interpret historical events, conditions, trends, and issues to develop historical perspective. Course Goal: To prepare students to be both more knowledgeable about the nature of the history and more skilled in thinking systematically. Most importantly, they should be ready to become concerned and involved citizens of the 21st century.
