Why do you attend any period of worship?
Your answer will explain why you feel as you do & may explain why you attend as often or infrequently as you do. Many who do attend engage in “spectator worship.” They do not feel personally involved. When they do come it is mostly out of a sense of obligation.

What is worship? The act of paying reverence, adoration, or homage to God. ~ Winston Dictionary Proskuneo – “to kiss the hand towards”; to make obeisance, do reverence. The act of homeage, Jn. 4:24. Sebomai – to revere, stressing feeling of awe, Mt. 15:9. Latreuo – to serve, to render religious service, homage, Phil. 3:3. Eusebeo – to act piously toward, Acts 17:23.
