Divide the rest of your sketchbook page into 8 sections. Number each section. 1 anger 2 joy 3 masculinity 4 femininity 5 speed 6 depression 7 excitement 8 fright In each box write the given work AND USING LINES ONLY…NO PICTURES… draw lines that represent each of the words

Use the lines that describe your personality and arrange them into a PATTERN. If you don’t like the way the pattern looks, then rearrange it and try again. ESTABLISHED: The Element Of Art are the tools an artist uses to create a work of art. The Principles Of Design are how the artist uses the tools in a meaningful way VARIETY: the use of differences and change to increase the visual interest of the work PATTERN: (POD) repeating the same elements again and again

On notebook paper, practice coming up with 5 different fonts to draw you first name only in… use only SHAPES not LINES.
