In Year 8, students are expected to complete a minimum of 2 x 30 mins homework (or equivalent) every two weeks.
Homework should either be preparation for the next lesson, or building / extending the learning from the previous lesson.
Homework should be a reflection of: ability, pride, effort.
Inadequate / incomplete homework results in a homework detention.

14. ASSESSMENTS AND EXAMS IN ENGLISH
Students take end of unit and end of year exams throughout KS3.
These assessments / exams are to build the skills they need for KS4.
In Year 11, all students take:
2 x 1 hr 45 mins exam = English Language
2 x 2 hr exam = English Literature

15. SUPPORT FROM SCHOOL Clubs they can attend:
Homework Club every afternoon in C2.
Book Club every Tuesday in the Library.
