2. The 6th Grade LA Curriculum:
The middle school LA curriculum is divided up into THEMATIC units. That means that we will read various works that tie back to each theme, or central message, below.

Unit 4:  Making Choices
Unit 5:  What's Your Point
Unit 6:  Where Am I?

3. UNIT 1: WHO AM I?
During our first unit, you will write and read things that will allow you to reflect on who you are and think about who you want to be.
A big part of your identity is how you think your friends and family view you.
The “Who Am I?” Raft assignment will allow you to ponder your parents’ view of you.
