Figure 1 Baseline low-voltage areas isolated by ablation. The color gradient reflects the graded changes in electrogram amplitude from purple at > 0.5 mV to red low-voltage areas at < 0.3 mV. Low-voltage areas were noted near the left inferior pulmonary vein ostium and on the posterior surface. As displayed in the figure, the low-voltage area located near the left inferior pulmonary vein was only partially isolated during pulmonary vein isolation. LIPV, left inferior pulmonary vein; LSPV, left superior pulmonary vein; RIPV, right inferior pulmonary vein; RSPV, right superior pulmonary vein. Figure 2 Multivariable adjusted hazard ratio (HR) plot for atrial arrhythmia recurrence as a function of LVA-B isolated by ablation (LVA-I). The solid black line indicates multivariable adjusted HRs for atrial arrhythmia recurrence as a function of the LVA-I using restricted quadratic splines. The dashed lines delineate the upper and lower 95% confidence intervals. The horizontal grey line indicates an HR of 1.0. The model was adjusted for left atrial volume, CHA2DS2-VASc score, LVA-B, and AF type. AF, atrial fibrillation; CHA2DS2-VASc, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension, Age (≥ 75 years), Diabetes, Stroke/Transient Ischemic Attack, Vascular Disease, Age (65-74 years), Sex (Female) score.
