2. What could you do at home to prepare for an earthquake?
Safeguard your home
Put heavy objects on low shelves
Have safe places to go in each room and outside
Make a plan on where you should meet your family and when
Store necessities:
Water, nonperishable food, a fire extinguisher, a flashlight with batteries, a portable radio, medicines, a first aid kit

3. What do you do if you are inside when an earthquake begins?
Stay inside – do not go running outside
Crouch down under a table or desk as close to the center of the room as possible
DROP, COVER, & HOLD!

4. What do you do if you are outside when an earthquake begins?
Stay outside
Lie face down away from power lines, buildings, and trees
Cover your head with your hands
